Swimsuits, goggles, etc...
SUITS
Team suits aren't required, but we've chosen a few items we think would be helpful for our swimmers on Swim Outlet. Swim Outlet is a great place to get quality competitive swim gear at reasonable prices. Ordering through our affiliate link earns the team money, too!
Trunk-style and two piece suits aren't designed for competitive swim, so we ask that they not be worn to practice or meets. Two piece suits are not allowed in GDSA meets, and will disqualify the swimmer.
CAPS
All swimmers will receive a 4S cap for meets. For practices, silicone caps are a great choice because they are more durable. Sporti brand caps are inexpensive but should last through the summer and beyond. We have two in the team store, one regular style and one for long hair.
GOGGLES
Sporti brand goggles are also a less expensive but good quality option. They are often less expensive than what you'd purchase locally at a big box store, and are more suited to racing. We've put several styles of Sporti and Speedo goggles in the team store. Either brand will work well. Many outdoor swimmers prefer mirrored goggles to help with the sun. A number of mirrored options are in the store.
Purchasing from Swim Outlet is not a requirement. We offer the suggestions as a convenience to our swimmers and their parents.

GDSA has a number of rules regarding swimwear that should be considered when shopping. Please check the GDSA website under Rules for the most updated regulations regarding swimwear.
