Hello Tigersharks!

Semi-finals are coming up next week, and I wanted to share a few important details for those two meets. Please reach out with any questions after reading through this email.

* Crestwood will host the semi finals for all swimmers in the 10 and under age groups on Monday, July 12th. The rain date is Wednesday, July 14th.

* Four Seasons will host the semi finals for all swimmers in the 11 and older age groups on Tuesday, July 13th. The rain date is Thursday, July 15th.

* Both meets begin at 6:15, with Four Seasons warming up at 5:50. However, swimmers MUST report to the pool and check in before 4:20 in order for the coaches to make any last minute changes to the line up. If you are going to be a few minutes late for any reason, please be sure to let the coaches know ASAP. If you are not there and they haven't heard from you, they will assume you are a no show, and your swimmer will be unable to swim.

* Please be aware that since the age groups are split up for semi-finals, the meets move more quickly than regular season meets. For example, the 10 and under meet will have events 1-4, then jump to event 11. Additionally, swimmers MUST check in prior to swimming. If they have not checked in at the clerk of course or with the lane coordinator, they will be disqualified. This is a more stringent requirement than during the regular season, so watch the event board closely and be sure to get your swimmers checked in early.

* There is a fee of $6 per swimmer for semi finals. Please send your payment to the pool with your swimmer as soon as possible. Gretchen Lee will be collecting payments, or you can submit payment in the envelopes at the front desk. You can also drop off payment at the front desk and ask them to put it in the swim team folder. Please be sure to mark clearly WHO the fees are for and that they are for semi's.  If your swimmer advances to finals, there is an additional $3 per swimmer fee for finals.

* As a quick reminder, our end of the season awards banquet will be held on Sunday, July 25th at 6pm. Hope to see everyone there for a fun night of snacks and memories.

* Finally, we need to ask for a final push for volunteers. Each meet has some needs, but the meet we host on July 13th has many needs. Please, please, please sign up to help with concessions, timing, acting as a marshal or a lane coordinator, or any of the other needs that are listed. We also ask for concessions donations, so please sign up to help with those too! We are so grateful for everyone's efforts to make the season run smoothly!
