Final Pre-season Reminders
Hello Tiger Sharks!
I just wanted to send out a summary of our Meet the Coaches meeting along with a few final reminders.
* Practice begins Tuesday, May 30th. (10 and unders at 9:15/ 11 and up at 10:00)
* Swimwear, goggles, caps, etc. can be purchased from our online store at Swim Outlet, linked here. You are not required to purchase a team suit, but anything you purchase from this link supports our team. Team swim caps will be passed out this week at practice.
* Officials training will take place this Saturday, June 3rd at 9am at Crestwood Swim Club. Please note the time change. If you are planning to attend, please be sure you have let me know.
* Payment is due now and can be submitted via check or exact change at practice, can be left at the front desk (please mark clearly that it is for swim team), or via PayPal, linked here.
* Please be sure you have subscribed to Remind for communications from the coaches or last minute information.
* Please review the Mandatory Meet Support requirements and let us know if you have any questions or concerns. As a reminder, all families are required to fulfill 7 points throughout the season. Additionally, each family should plan to donate for concessions for each of our three home meets. Sign ups will open soon for our first two meets.
* Team pictures will be Friday, June 16th. Order forms will be passed out the week before.
* Please note that swim meets begin at 6pm, however, swimmers need to report to the hosting pool by 4:45 for warmups and so coaches can plan ahead for any swimmers who cannot be there. Also, in order to qualify for championships at the end of the season, swimmers must participate in 3 regular season meets.
* While not required, we recommend downloading the Swimtopia app and subscribing to the pro version, just for June and July. It is $2.99/month, and it is useful during swim meets to see the meet lineup and to check your swimmer's results.
* Swimmers must declare their availability for each meet 48 hours before the meet. Reminders will be sent out prior to meets, but please be sure to declare whether or not your swimmer can attend so the coaches can work out the line up for each meet. Once open, this can be done at the sign-up calendar on our team website.
